They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, extensive hands-on experience, and a proven track record in leading production teams to achieve operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Production Management:
- Oversee and manage all production activities to ensure efficient and timely output of high-quality products.
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet demand and maximize resource utilization.
- Monitor production processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of production staff, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Quality Control:
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous quality control measures.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to minimize defects and ensure consistency.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all production activities comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Resource Management:
- Manage production resources, including raw materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain inventory levels, ensuring availability of necessary materials for uninterrupted production.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to incorporate new technologies and methods into production.
Reporting:
- Prepare and present production reports to senior management, providing insights into operational performance and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, quality control, and compliance documentation.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and resource management.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
