Summary

The Internal Auditor Cum Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of multiple entities within QMP Ltd. This role involves conducting comprehensive internal audits, managing bank transfers, performing detailed department-wise cost vs. profit analysis, and executing routine accounting tasks. The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Description

Key Responsibilities:
Internal Auditing:
• Plan and execute internal audit processes to ensure compliance with financial
regulations and company policies.
• Identify and report on discrepancies, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within
financial operations.
• Develop and implement audit plans and strategies to mitigate financial risks.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.

Financial Management:
• Oversee and manage all accounting operations including Billing, Cost Accounting,
Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report
variances.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage bank transfers and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and
promptly.

Multi-Entity Accounting:
• Maintain and manage financial records for multiple entities within the organization.
• Consolidate financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards
across all entities.
• Coordinate inter-company transactions and reconciliations.Cost vs. Profit Analysis:
• Conduct detailed department-wise cost and profit analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to improve profitability.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements as
needed.

Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
and tax filings.
• Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and standards.
• Liaise with external auditors and facilitate audit processes.

Process Improvement:
• Evaluate existing accounting systems and processes; recommend and implement
improvements.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and
strengthen internal controls.

Education

More Details on Experience

Minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience in accounting and internal auditing roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and auditing
standards.
• Experience in managing accounts for multiple entities.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
