Warehouse Manager Job
Duties
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board and company policies
 - Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations of the warehouse
 - Set up the layout and ensure efficient space utilization when there are bulk receipts and other receiptsInitiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures in the warehouse
 - Maintain acceptable standards of health and safety, hygiene and securityManage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
 - Sort out customer issues associated with store (returns, damages, etc.)Facilitate for stock recountsEnsure that the physical and system stock matchEnsure that no expiries are on the shelves
 - Ensure that a record of controlled drugs is updated and consistently maintained

Competencies:
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
 - Strong knowledge of warehousing
 - Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
 - Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
 - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
 - Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
 - Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
 - Good interpersonal skills
 - Exceptional time management and organization skills
 - In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
 
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Supply Chain Management
 - 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical warehouse – a MUST
 - Professional Certification in Supply Chain – desirable
