Job Summary
The jobholder shall be responsible for carrying out initiatives and programmes on implementation of the corporate knowledge management(KM) strategy and policy such as knowledge retention and transfer, awareness creation programmes, knowledge sharing sessions/webinars, knowledge identification and capture, subject matter experts, promoting knowledge sharing culture, tracking, measuring and monitoring KM performance in the Authority

Duties and responsibilities
- Provide technical support in implementation of the corporate knowledge management strategy and policy.
- Implement knowledge management awareness programme, knowledge retention and transfer programme by organizing workshops, trainings and engagements.
- Manage the process of creation of knowledge transfer teams, monitor and follow up with the knowledge transfer members to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Identify and conduct structured interviews to elicit critical knowledge from the set to retire experts through knowledge video documentation.
- Identify knowledge areas/topics and potential experts in partnership with departments to implement knowledge sharing sessions and webinars on strategic knowledge areas.
- Identify, capture, collect and publish knowledge resources in the Authority
- create and collect best practices and knowledge sharing success stories for publishing across the Authority’s departments .
- Identify participants, create awareness and organize the knowledge sharing sessions/webinars.
- Prepare and conduct internal awareness and sensitizations aimed at fostering knowledge management in the Authority.
- Make proposals in the development and upgrade of knowledge management system/knowledge infrastructure.
- Track, measure and monitor KM performance to report and communicate impact.
- Research and identify innovative ideas to improve knowledge management practices in the Authority.
Qualifications and Skills:
For appointment to this job, the candidate must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, or information science with knowledge management specialisation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Membership to a relevant professional body where applicable.
- Knowledge of use of knowledge management system and softwares
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.
