We are seeking passionate and dedicated Subject Teachers to join our prestigious day and boarding co-educational school, offering both the Kenya National Curriculum and the British Cambridge Curriculum. This role is crucial in delivering a high-quality curriculum, shaping student growth, and upholding our school’s values. Reporting to the Head of Subject, you will be instrumental in academic excellence, student discipline, and holistic development. Subject teachers are responsible for curriculum delivery and the communication of the school’s ethos to all learners under their care and supervision.
JSS/IGCSE Teachers (Up to A-Level)
We are seeking qualified and experienced teachers to handle Junior Secondary School (JSS) and IGCSE classes up to A-Level in any two of the following subjects:
- English / Literature
- Kiswahili
- History
- Mathematics
- Geography
- ICT / Computer Studies
- Food and Nutrition / Home Science
- Art
- Physical Education / Sports
- Music and Drama
- Chemistry

Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum objectives.
- Assess, track, and support student progress through formative and summative evaluations.
- Prepare students for CBC, KCPE, KCSE, and IGCSE examinations, including administering and invigilating tests.
- Develop and enhance curriculum materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Maintain a well-organized, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Analyze student performance trends and implement targeted learning support strategies.
- Promote discipline and positive behaviour in and out of the classroom.
- Engage in and organize extracurricular activities such as clubs, sports, and school trips.
- Serve as a mentor and pastoral guide, supporting students academically and personally.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings, briefings, training, and school-wide events.
- Supervise and support trainee teachers and short-term guest educators.
- Collaborate with education professionals, including mentors, career advisors, and psychologists.
- Stay updated with subject advancements through on going professional development.
- Implement modern teaching methods and best practices to enhance student learning.
- Effectively teach up to A-Level, ensuring strong academic performance and personal
- development.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Education in a relevant subject area.
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, having handled a KCPE/KCSE/IGCSE candidate class with proven exemplary results.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- Certificate of Good Conduct (mandatory).
- Strong lesson planning and organizational skills.
- Experience in modern teaching techniques and the ability to integrate technology into the classroom.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Passion for inspiring and motivating students to achieve their full potential.
