Job Summary

CITAM seeks to recruit a born-again Christian who is experienced and self-motivated to fill the position of a Studio Director TV in Hope Media, whose responsibility will be to facilitate the smooth running of the TV studio equipment for recording, and live broadcasting to ensure the highest quality of audio and video signal
The position reports to the Programs Controller.

Responsibilities

  • Production Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the entire studio production process, ensuring that all elements come together seamlessly. Collaborate with producers, directors, and other production staff to understand the creative vision for each program.
  • Live Production Management: Direct live broadcasts, ensuring that camera operators, audio technicians, and other crew members follow cues and timing. Make real-time decisions to adjust the production flow and address any unexpected issues.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee technical aspects of the production, including camera angles, lighting, and sound. Work closely with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during production.
  • Collaboration with Control Room: Coordinate with the control room to ensure that all technical aspects, including graphics, audio, and video playback, are executed correctly. Work closely with the technical director to integrate visual elements seamlessly.
  • Manage Studio bookings and recordings.
  • Generate broadcast logs for clients.
  • Oversee live and recorded programs transmission and ensure quality signals at all times.
  • On air scheduling.

Requirements

  • Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
  • Diploma in Studio Technical Operations, Film and Production or related field from a reputable institution. A degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Studio Technical Operation.
  • A keen eye for details and a critical mind.
  • Exposure to broadcast automation and control room operations
  • Proficiency in video editing software’s and post-production workflows.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Organizational and time management.
