Job Description

• The Senior Technician, KEWI 7 reports to the Principal Technician KEWI 6.

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

• Organizing for practical sessions in the laboratory and workshops;
• Maintaining Inventory at the laboratory/workshop;
• Requisitioning of laboratory/workshop materials;
• Maintaining of laboratory/workshop facilities; and Analysing samples.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

• Served for a cumulative period of Nine 9 years relevant work experience, three 3 of which should have been at the grade of Technician I or in a comparable position;
• Certificate in a relevant technical field from a recognised Institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
