Radio Africa Limited is one of Kenya’s leading media houses with both top national and top niche radio stations in Kenya and we are looking for a qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced Senior Data Analyst.
Senior Data Analyst
The purpose of this position is to implement the Research and Development function’s strategic plan that strives to provide timely market intelligence to guide timely decision-making by the group of companies.
- Meet annual targets and KPIs as set by management annually.
- Compile a quarterly/Monthly industry audience report (Purple Book) to HoD and Group PC
- Analyze and submit weekly Adex and missed spend to sales managers
- Supports the head of research in use of data for company's strategies and operations
- Develop and maintain info graphics and visualizations for audience reports, spend opportunities and print tracking
- Compile Bi-Monthly Radio Tracking Reports as per Group PC Specifications
- Conduct weekly music research and submit to the PC every Thursday
- Undertake bi-annual auditorium survey for each brand
- Collate relevant industry data and compile an annual report based on viewership, listenership and revenue
- Monitoring of ad volumes in the Star and competition
- Conduct monthly editorial polls for the Star
- All research conducted and reports submitted meet the Company's standards
- Adhere to inter-departmental service level agreements
- Ensure excellent departmental leave management
- Degree in business & quantitative analysis, statistics, actuarial science, or mathematics.
- Diploma in market research, CIM, or equivalent
- Google tools including, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, and Google Data Studio.
- Digital Analytics especially in Google Analytics.
- Python R or SPSS.
- Advanced Excel.
- Dashboarding Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Advanced analytical and numerical skills.
- Canva.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong business acumen
- Flexibility with strong coordinating and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good coaching and mentoring skills
- Ability to multi-task, and coordinate teams, while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
