This role is central to ensuring safe and efficient battery operations across our swap stations, field network, and service facilities. You will manage the full lifecycle of batteries — from receiving and inspection to charging, draining, repairs, and logging — while maintaining rigorous safety, traceability, and performance standards. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with strong organizational skills and a passion for precision, energy systems, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Battery Operations: Oversee daily battery management including charging, draining, balancing, and conditioning processes.
  • Inventory Control: Manage and track all batteries and related components across multiple locations to maintain real-time visibility and accountability.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Perform and document connector replacements, casing repairs, and component diagnostics using approved tools and safety procedures.
  • Task Logging & Reporting: Record all maintenance, charging, and repair activities in digital systems, ensuring accurate tracking of issues, serials, and usage cycles.
  • Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce Zeno’s safety standards and environmental handling procedures for high-voltage batteries.
  • Testing & Diagnostics: Conduct performance tests to identify degradation, anomalies, or system errors, and escalate to engineering for root cause analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Support the development and refinement of battery workflows and documentation in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Mentorship & Training: Guide junior technicians and operators on battery handling, maintenance routines, and reporting standards.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in battery systems, electrical maintenance, or EV service environments.
  • Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery technology, charging protocols, and safety best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage technical inventory with precision and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Skilled in diagnosing electrical issues, handling connectors, and performing component-level repairs.
  • Familiarity with data logging tools, ERP systems, or digital maintenance tracking platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safe, methodical work processes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, service, and field operations teams.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Company sponsored healthcare plan
  • Join a world class team of engineers, operators, and entrepreneurs from across the globe who are part of the inevitable trillion-dollar transition of two-wheelers to electric!
