Position Overview

  • The Sales Agent will play a key role in driving the client's growth by acquiring new ISP clients, managing existing customers, and ensuring smooth communication across the company. This role requires a proactive, organized, and customer-focused individual capable of building strong relationships, closing sales, handling client accounts, and coordinating internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, target, and engage potential ISP clients across Kenya.
  • Pitch bulk bandwidth products and close new sales deals.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations.
  • Maintain an updated pipeline of prospects and follow up consistently.

Client Management

  • Serve as the primary contact person for existing clients.
  • Provide timely support and assistance whenever clients need help.
  • Follow up on client bills, payments, and overdue accounts.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.

Communication & Office Administration

  • Manage company communication channels including calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
  • Prepare and file necessary paperwork, contracts, and client documents.
  • Maintain updated company files soft and hard copies.
  • Coordinate internal communication between departments and management.

Finance & Documentation

  • Receive and bank client cheques.
  • Maintain accurate records of payments and submit daily/weekly reports.
  • Ensure documentation for all transactions is properly filed and accessible.

Marketing & Team Support

  • Help form and coordinate a marketing team for promotions and brand awareness.
  • Provide input for marketing strategies and sales campaigns.
  • Assist with field marketing activities when required.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in sales within the ISP or telecommunications sector is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
  • Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in basic computer tools email, Excel, Google Workspace.
  • Honest, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Work Conditions

  • Based in Nairobi with occasional field travel as needed.
  • Reports directly to the Director/Operations Manager.
