Job Summary:
Our client is a leading provider of premium interior design materials and bespoke design services. They cater to interior designers, homeowners, and real estate firms and transform spaces with their elegant wooden finishes and high-quality products. They are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to interior design projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget while maintaining quality standards. He/she will possess strong interior design skills and balance financial management with creative design solutions to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and financial reports while ensuring alignment with interior design objectives.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for interior design projects.
- Analyze design drawings and specifications to provide accurate estimates of materials, labor, and time requirements.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to develop design concepts that are both aesthetically pleasing and cost-effective.
- Create stylish and functional designs for residential and commercial spaces, incorporating client preferences and design trends.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and variations, making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes for materials and services.
- Provide expert advice on cost-saving measures and design optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Interior Designer in the interior design or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of design principles, construction processes, and cost management.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and quantity surveying tools.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
