Responsibilities

  • Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned public areas according to established standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, restrooms, hallways, staircases, and other common areas.
  • Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linen.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly used, stored, and maintained.
  • Adhere to health, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times.

  • KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping/cleaning, preferably in the hotel, resort, or hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and Physical stamina to perform cleaning promptly, escalating where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks completed and supplies used.
  • Support in special cleaning projects as directed by the supervisor.
  • duties lifting, bending, long hours standing.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
