Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of assigned properties residential/commercial.
- Collect rent, issue receipts, and manage arrears efficiently.
- Advertise vacancies, screen tenants, and coordinate leasing agreements.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure proper maintenance of properties.
- Coordinate with service providers cleaners, security, plumbers, electricians, etc..
- Resolve tenant complaints and handle conflict resolution professionally.
- Maintain financial records, prepare budgets, and report monthly.
- Ensure compliance with tenancy laws, county regulations, and safety standards.
- Supervise caretakers, security, and grounds staff
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of property management experience.
- Age 30 years and above preferred for maturity and experience.
- Strong understanding of Nairobi's property laws and rental market.
- Proficient in property management software or tools e.g., Excel, rent tracking apps.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple properties or units.
- Certificate or Diploma in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, or related field is an added advantage.
