This is the entry and training grade for Degree holders in this cadre. Duties and responsibilities in this position shall entail assisting in: -

Carrying out on-site inspection of telecommunication and radio communication facilities,
Carrying out on-site measurements of technical parameters of radio communication facilities in aid of licensing or law enforcement,
Collating , analyzing , and preparation of reports regarding the activities carried out,
Performing determination of the location of radio emissions Direction Finding,
Conducting measurements of emissions of transmitter technical parameters of radio communication facilities in aid of licensing or law enforcement,
Resolution of harmful radio spectrum interference,
Collating , analyzing, and preparation of reports regarding the frequency monitoring activities,
Monitoring supplier obligations concerning the maintenance of regulatory facilities,
Carrying out preventative maintenance on radio monitoring, telecom monitoring measuring equipment and test gears,
Carrying out limited corrective maintenance on radio monitoring, telecom monitoring measuring equipment, and test gears,
Collating, analyzing, and preparing of reports regarding the status of monitoring and measurement facilities.

Job Requirements

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: -

Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or any other related field from a recognized institution,
Experience with data engineering and/or analysis will be an added advantage,
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
