Zeno is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and support the growth of our electric motorcycle brand across Kenya. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and hands-on execution to build brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support sales growth. A deep understanding of both online and offline marketing channels, particularly within the Kenyan context, is essential.
What You’ll Do:
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive customer acquisition in Kenya, leveraging both digital and traditional channels such as radio, billboards, and community outreach programs.
- Viral Content Creation: Design and produce engaging, shareable content tailored to resonate with Kenya's diverse audiences, with a focus on creating viral moments within the boda boda communities.
- Innovative Campaigns: Conceptualize and execute bold, innovative marketing campaigns that capture attention and drive brand excitement, especially targeting boda boda riders and communities.
- Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital platforms, social media, radio, outdoor advertising, events, and traditional media to maximize reach and impact.
- Community Engagement: Build strong relationships within the boda boda communities through grassroots marketing efforts, partnerships with key influencers, and activation events that foster brand loyalty.
- Brand Development: Strengthen Zeno’s brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels, both online and offline.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape within Kenya to inform marketing strategies.
- Partnerships & Events: Build and manage relationships with key partners, influencers, media outlets, and stakeholders. Organize events, product launches, roadshows, and community engagement activities across diverse regions in Kenya.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze marketing performance metrics from both online and offline campaigns and provide actionable insights to optimize strategies and improve ROI.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, product, and operations teams to align marketing efforts with business goals, ensuring a cohesive approach across all touchpoints
What You Bring:
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive business growth, with strong experience in managing both digital and traditional marketing channels.
- Demonstrated ability to create viral content and lead innovative campaigns that capture public attention, especially within grassroots and community-based settings like the boda boda community
- Deep understanding of Kenya’s landscape, including radio, print, social media Tik Tok, Facebook, outdoor advertising, and community-based marketing.
- Strong digital marketing skills with proficiency in social media platforms, content marketing strategies, and online advertising tools.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and copywriting skills for diverse media formats.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and sustainability.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel across Kenya to support marketing activities and events.
