Job Summary
Reporting to the Managing Director and functionally to the ARC Committee of the Board, the job holder is responsible for coordinating and implementing the Enterprise Risk Management ERM Policy and Framework, ensuring the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of risks while promoting a strong risk culture and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and implement ERM policies, frameworks, and strategies.
- Ensure compliance with PFM Act, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 31000:2009, and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and escalate high, new, and emerging risks to management and the Board.
- Facilitate strategic, operational, and project risk assessments.
- Lead business continuity planning and conduct annual Business Impact Analyses.
- Drive risk awareness initiatives and build a risk management culture.
- Prepare risk reports and maintain companywide risk registers.
- Coordinate with assurance providers to improve risk processes.
- Manage divisional budgets, reporting, team development, and performance evaluations.
JOB AND PERSON SPECIFICATION
Person specifications
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: -
- Experience of at least twelve 12 years in a relevant field, four 4 of which should be at middle management level in a large organization or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- Be a Certified Risk Management Professional CRMP or Risk Management Professional RMI-PMI, or Certified Risk Management Assurance CRMA or Professional Certification in ISO 22301 or any other relevant qualification.
- Membership of the Institute of Risk Management, Global Association of Risk Professionals, Institute of Actuaries, Chartered Insurance Institute & in good standing
- Management Course lasting not less than four 4 weeks or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Must fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
