Requirements for Appointment

• An earned PhD in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent Degree qualification in the relevant area from an accredited and recognized university.
• Be registered with Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board KMLTTB and with a valid practicing License.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity upon successful appointment.

OR

• Have a Master’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent Degree qualification in the relevant area from a recognized/accredited University with at least three 3 years research/teaching/industry experience.
• Have a minimum of twenty-four 24 publication points, of which at least sixteen 16 should be from refereed scholarly journals.
• Be registered with Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board KMLTTB and with a valid practicing License.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity upon successful appointment.
