Hygiene Officer Job
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive hygiene and sanitation protocols across all F&B outlets, kitchens, and relevant operational areas.
- Conduct regular internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring full compliance with statutory and corporate hygiene requirements.
- Lead and conduct food safety and hygiene training for all relevant colleagues.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and Engineering teams to maintain and improve hygiene standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for health inspections and liaise with local authorities as necessary.
- Develop a hotel-wide Hygiene Monitoring Program, complete with data tracking, trend analysis, and continuous improvement plans.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a large luxury hotel operation.
- Experience with Hyatt Hotels Corporation or other global luxury hospitality brands is a strong advantage.
- Certified in Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), HACCP, or equivalent hygiene qualifications.
- Demonstrated ability to develop hygiene SOPs and implement them from the ground up, particularly in pre-opening or process redesign scenarios.
- Deep knowledge of local public health regulations and international food safety standards.
- Strong leadership and training skills with the ability to instill a culture of hygiene excellence among kitchen and service teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with proficiency in creating reports, audits, and process guidelines.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
