Human Resource Officer Job

Salary: Ksh 30,000 to 40,000 net
We are seeking to hire a Human Resource officer who will support our clients in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting a positive workplace culture as he/she focuses on aligning HR practices with business objectives and driving talent management strategies.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Provide guidance on HR-related issues, including workforce planning and change management.
- Collaborate with senior management in implementation of business objectives through HR strategies that support organizational goals.
- Assist in recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent.
- Review HR Templates including contracts, job descriptions, and policies to ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
- Maintain accurate employee records and oversee the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports for the client on activities and expected outcomes.
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Support organizational growth, change management initiatives and transitions.
- Track performance management, succession planning and training needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related field.
- A Minimum of 3 years HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Good understanding of employment laws and regulations in Kenya.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills are desired.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
