  • To support the HR department in delivering efficient and effective human resource services across the organization. The HR Officer will serve as a generalist, responsible for a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, leave and overtime tracking, performance support, continuous improvement initiatives, HR administration, and reporting.

Main accountabilities of the Human Resources Officer: -

  • HR Operations & Administration
  • Maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS.
  • Ensuring accurate data entry and reporting from the HRIS system.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Administering leave, attendance, and overtime tracking systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements within HR operations.
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies.Monitoring HR metrics and recommend data-driven improvements
  • Overtime monitoring
  • Tracking and analyzing overtime trends across departments.
  • Ensuring overtime approvals are documented and aligned with policy.
  • Providing monthly reports and insights to management.
  • Employee engagement and relations
  • Supporting employee welfare programs and engagement initiatives.
  • Addressing employee queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting in conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
  • Performance & Efficiencies
  • Supporting performance management processes including appraisals and feedback sessions.
  • Champion initiatives that promote productivity and accountability.
  • Assisting in training and development coordination.
  • Reporting
  • Preparing and present monthly HR reports covering key metrics such as overtime, leave utilization, headcount, and employee movements.
  • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports for management decision-making

Requirements

The ideal candidates should meet the following requirements: -

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
  • Membership with IHRM is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in Kaizen or equivalent is desired.
