We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy of our fast-paced, service-driven organization. This role is suited for someone who thrives in high-energy environments, has hands-on experience in HR leadership, and can deeply engage with a large workforce while driving the company's culture and values forward.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Talent Scouting & Recruitment
- Lead full-cycle recruitment from crafting job profiles to on-boarding and off-boarding.
- Identify, attract, and retain top talent aligned with company values and performance expectations.
- Build a strong pipeline of casual and permanent team members through proactive scouting and networking.
- Training & Development
- Design and implement regular team training programs focused on up-skilling, team coherence, and performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional learning initiatives, ensuring that staff are equipped to deliver consistent and excellent service. Performance & Culture
- Lead performance review processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Foster a strong team culture rooted in accountability, excellence, and shared values.
- Champion employee engagement and contribute to building a resilient, positive workplace.
- Workforce & Labor Relations
- Maintain a deep understanding of labor laws, especially those affecting casual and minimum-wage workers.
- Manage grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair, lawful, and consistent manner.
- Ensure the company is compliant with all employment legislation and record-keeping requirements.
- HR Systems & Records
- Set up and maintain accurate employee records, contracts, schedules, and other compliance-related documentation.
- Own and optimize HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and privacy.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Five plus 5+ years proven experience in an HR management role, ideally in a Security, Marketing, hospitality, service, or operational environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing a large and diverse workforce.
- A strong working knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR compliance practices
- High emotional intelligence, excellent communication, and the ability to influence and inspire people.
- Experience in talent scouting, hiring for fit, and growing internal talent.
- A systems-thinker with attention to detail, excellent organization, and strong execution ability.
- A leader who embodies our values, builds strong rapport across teams, and holds a high standard for company culture and team experience. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, or related field.
