Job objective
- As a head of Security, you will be responsible for overseeing and guarding operations to ensure effective security management.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce duty rotas and shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Supervise shift handover and takeover procedures to maintain continuity of operations.
- Conduct regular shift checks to confirm attendance, alertness, and compliance with assigned duties.
- Relay guard concerns, suggestions, or grievances to management promptly.
- Monitor and verify checkpoint scans to ensure all designated patrol routes are covered.
- Conduct routine and random patrols of the premises to check for vulnerabilities, unsafe practices, or suspicious activities.
- Deter and respond to criminal activity, breaches, or threats through visible presence and effective team coordination.
- Investigate and report security incidents or anomalies.
- Act as a liaison between security staff and senior management for reporting, instructions, and feedback.
- Submit daily incident and activity reports, highlighting any critical issues, observations, or recommendations.
- Train and mentor new and existing security personnel on procedures, protocols, and professional conduct.
- Monitor performance of guards and recommend corrective action, retraining, or commendations
Your profile
- A dedicated and disciplined Security Supervisor with over one year of hands-on experience in managing security personnel and operations.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and communication abilities, ensuring effective coordination and supervision of security teams.
- Skilled in enforcing security policies, maintaining discipline, and promoting compliance with established protocols.
- Committed to creating a safe and secure environment through proactive oversight, regular patrols, and consistent incident reporting.
