The Role

Zeno is seeking a highly skilled and driven Head of Service to lead all aspects of vehicle servicing operations across East Africa. This role will be central to ensuring exceptional reliability, uptime, and customer satisfaction for Zeno’s electric motorcycles. You will oversee the end-to-end service function — from preventive maintenance and diagnostics to managing warranty claims, spares ordering, and rework programs — while implementing world-class systems, tools, and processes that enable scale and efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Servicing at Zeno Kenya: Oversee all service centers and field operations to ensure top-tier maintenance, repair quality, and turnaround times for Zeno vehicles.
  • Job Card & Workflow Management: Own service workflows including job cards, checklists, and service-level metrics to drive accountability and performance. 
  • Spares & Warranty Management: Develop and execute spares management systems, warranty processes, and vendor relationships for seamless operations.
  • Rework & Campaign Execution: Program manage rework, recall, and upgrade campaigns to ensure timely completion and communication across the field network.
  • Service Tools & Systems: Implement and optimize digital tools for diagnostics, service tracking, and performance monitoring.
  • Budget & Pricing Oversight: Own service budget, pricing models, and cost optimization across labor, spares, and infrastructure.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations

What You Bring.

  • 6+ years of experience in vehicle service operations, preferably within automotive or EV, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 
  • Strong technical knowledge of two-wheeler or automotive systems - mechanical, electrical, and software. 
  • Proven experience setting up and scaling vehicle service networks or multi-site operations. 
  • Expertise in spares planning, warranty handling, and vendor management. 
  • Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze service metrics and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Hands-on leadership style — able to balance strategy with execution in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Passion for customer experience, and operational excellence.
