We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Sales – Device Financing to lead our sales operations in Kenya. This pivotal role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a nationwide sales team, and driving growth in our device financing segment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and financial targets.
 - Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team, setting clear performance metrics and fostering a culture of excellence.
 - Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new sales channels, partnerships, and market opportunities to enhance customer acquisition and portfolio growth.
 - Performance Monitoring: Utilize data analytics to track sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends, adjusting strategies as needed.
 - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, risk, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and enhance the customer experience.
 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA is advantageous.
 - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales leadership within device financing, telecommunications, or related financial services.
 - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
 - Strong leadership and team management skills.
 - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
 - In-depth understanding of the Kenyan market dynamics.
 - Experience working with phone dealers and distributors is a strong plus but not mandatory.
