Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business units
Manage monthly closing process and ensure timely, accurate reporting
Lead reconciliations - bank, debtors, creditors, inventory and inter-company
Strengthen working capital control - debtors, creditors and stock
Oversee statutory compliance - VAT, PAYE, corporate tax coordination
Support audit processes - internal and external
Maintain strong cost accounting discipline within manufacturing
Improve finance processes, controls and documentation
Partner with operations, supply chain and sales to ensure financial accuracy
Assist in automation initiatives and system improvements
Support the Commercial and Sales teams on margins, pricing, trade spend and joint business planning
Partner with Sales on credit control discipline, customer limits and collection performance

What We Are Looking For

ACCA or CPAK qualified - fully certified
5 to 8+ years accounting experience, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing
Strong understanding of stock, cost of production and margin analysis
Experience managing high transaction volumes
Excellent reconciliation and control mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growth environment
Strong Google Sheet / excel skills
Extremely comfortable with technology, software, ERP and platforms like 'sage pastel'
High integrity and strong attention to detail
