Key Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management

Key Outputs/Deliverables

  • Business Development; achieve agreed upon sales targets
  • Relationship Management; customer retention, improved customer relationships and quality services to the new and existing clientele.
  • Compliance to departmental processes
  • Sales reporting; develop timely and accurate sales reports to facilitate decision making
  • Ensure all opportunities within a given sales route are well covered

Academic and professional Qualifications and experience required

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or related subjects.
  • Proven experience in field sales, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.

Key Skills and Competences

  • Experience in the selling of construction materials to home developers and contractors and engaging with architects and engineers.
  • Strong understanding of home construction processes, materials, and building techniques. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
