Key Duties/ Responsibilities
- Customer Relationship Management
- Sales and Business Development
- Product Education and Training
- Project Coordination and Support
- Reporting and Analysis
Key Outputs/Deliverables
- Business Development; achieve agreed upon sales targets
- Relationship Management; customer retention, improved customer relationships and quality services to the new and existing clientele.
- Compliance to departmental processes
- Sales reporting; develop timely and accurate sales reports to facilitate decision making
- Ensure all opportunities within a given sales route are well covered
Academic and professional Qualifications and experience required
- Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or related subjects.
- Proven experience in field sales, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
Key Skills and Competences
- Experience in the selling of construction materials to home developers and contractors and engaging with architects and engineers.
- Strong understanding of home construction processes, materials, and building techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
