Qualifications
- Masters Degree
- For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: i. Served in the grade of Senior Assistant Director, HRD for at least three 3 years OR a minimum period of fifteen 15 years work experience, three 3 of which must have been in a Senior Management position in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management/ Development, Education or other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences with a Postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management/ Development, Education or other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Certified Human Resource Professional qualification CHRP from the Human Resource Management Professional Examination Board HRMPEB; OR a Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution;
- Membership to the Institute of Human Resource Management IHRM;
- Valid practicing certificate from IHRM or any other recognized professional body;
- Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management/ Development, Education, Public Administration or other equivalent qualification from recognized institutions;
- Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme from a recognized institution lasting not less than six 6 weeks;
- Demonstrated professional competence and administrative capabilities in work performance and results; and
- Meet the requirements of chapter six 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
