Qualifications
- Masters Degree
- For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Served in the grade of Senior Assistant Director Audit for at least three 3 years OR a minimum period of Fifteen 15 years relevant work experience, three 3 of which must have been in a Senior Management position in a comparable and relevant position in the Public or Private Sector;
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration BA-Accounting/Finance Option or Bachelor of Science BSC-Auditing and Consultancy/Finance option from a recognized Institution or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Certified Public Accountant - CPAK part III or equivalent qualifications; iv. Membership to a relevant professional body and in good standing;
- Be a registered member of the Institute of Internal Auditors IIA or Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya ICPAK or certified Information Systems Auditors CISA;
- Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration MBA-Accounting/Finance Option or Masters of Science MSC-Auditing and Consultancy/Finance option from a recognized Institution; vii. Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme from a recognized institution lasting not less than six 6 weeks;
- Demonstrated professional competence and administrative capabilities in work performance and results; and
- Meet the requirements of chapter six 6 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
