Key Responsibilities
- Handle cash, card, and mobile money transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Issue receipts, invoices, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Balance the cash register daily and prepare detailed cash reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions to ensure financial accountability.
- Assist guests and staff with payment inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
- Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and internal control systems.
- Report any discrepancies, errors, or irregularities in financial transactions promptly to management.
- Support end-of-day reconciliations and handovers to the finance department.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashiering area and ensure security of all financial documents and cash.
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a cashier in hospitality or retail environments.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS or cashiering systems.
