For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -

• Diploma in Technical Education or Diploma in Education in Caregiving or Perioperative Theatre Technology or Health Support System or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized Institution;

OR

• Diploma in Caregiving or Perioperative Theatre Technology or Health Support System or equivalent and relevant qualification; and a Diploma in Education/ Diploma Technical Trainer Education from a recognized Institution;

OR

• Diploma in Caregiving or Perioperative Theatre Technology or Health Support System or equivalent and relevant qualification

OR

• Craft Certificate in Caregiving or Perioperative Theatre Technology or Health Support
• System or relevant TVET specialization;
• Be licensed by TVET Authority or meet the requirement for licensing by TVETA
• Be a member of a relevant professional body where applicable.
