Key Responsibilities    

  • Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating student welfare and development programs
  • Support the management of student discipline in accordance with university regulations.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to student leaders, clubs, and associations.
  • Prepare reports and provide administrative support to the Dean of Students.
  • Liaise with academic departments, security, and external stakeholders on student-related matters.
  • Participate in counselling, mentorship, and career guidance initiatives

Qualifications and skills    

  • Master’s degree in Education, Counselling Psychology, Student Affairs, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Degree in Education, Counselling Psychology, Student Affairs, or a related field from a recognized institution
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct, Excellent communication, organizational, and report-writing skills, Proficiency in ICT applications and student information management systems.
  • Minimum of three 3 years’ relevant experience in student affairs, university administration, or student support services
  • Membership in a recognized professional body for counseling, student affairs, or education e.g., Kenya Counseling and Psychological Association or equivalent.
